In collaboration with the Doernbecher Freestyle initiative, young patients at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital have the incredible opportunity to team up with designers from Nike and Jordan, like Emily. Her unique creation is the Air Jordan 22, a tribute to her passion for art and nature. The design showcases floral patterns on the upper, inspired by her favorite botanical gardens. The insole features a soft suede material reminiscent of a painter's canvas. Lift the tongue and you'll discover hidden compartments for storing small art supplies. A special touch is the number 27, etched on the heel, symbolizing the number of days Emily spent in the hospital, turning her creative vision into reality.
