Within the framework of the Doernbecher Freestyle initiative, designed to empower young patients at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, Sergio collaborated with Nike design collaborators to craft his unique Air Max Plus. Sergio's personalized sneakers pay tribute to the beauty of individuality, featuring a black shoe adorned with elements inspired by video games and illustration, and a white shoe showcasing monster lizards reveling in a pizza party set against the iconic NYC skyline. The orange tongues mirror the texture of a basketball, a subtle homage to Sergio's passion for the sport. Adding a playful touch, the glow-in-the-dark outsole incorporates colorful circles reminiscent of his cherished gaming controller.
