Description

In line with the Doernbecher Freestyle initiative, offering young patients at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital the chance to collaborate with Nike design partners, Khovny conceived her exclusive V2K Run design as a tribute to all the things she holds dear. Her creation is adorned with vibrant elements such as shiny serpents, an illustration of her cherished plushie Papa Bear, and a miniature representation of her stuffed monkey, Pinkie Doo Doo. Each shoe is adorned with a bold hue inspired by the album covers of her favorite musicians. Khovny encourages wearers to don the removable friendship bracelet in honor of her brother Ryan, who shared the same rare condition as his sister.
