There is a new event space in Chicago. Get ready to experience the world of street-dance at the new Rythmhood Studio. Their space is built upon the mission of fostering an environment for creatives to come and flourish. Chicago has previously lacked a centralized location to learn major street styles. With this space the community will have better access to the resources and knowledge to improve and nurture their dance skills.
Beginning as Rhythm Kidz, founded in 2016 by international dancers Lam Sedechu, Tatiana, and Jonny, Rythmhood experienced and found the need in their community for Hip Hop freestyle. They created Rythmhood to meet that need and offer an international hub of street-dance.
The space will not only be used for dance classes but also for hosting events, exhibits, pop-ups, and connecting creatives. It holds a conference, meeting, and media room, as well as private dance rooms, communal spaces, and storage space to accommodate Rythmhood’s mission.
