Even in its most basic form, the Air Force 1 exudes sophistication. However, when that standard, leather base gets upgraded to supple suede, its understated class evolves into full-blown luxury. And, if you're into that sort of thing, you're in luck – Nike is gearing up to release two new, luxe colorways of the quintessential model this April.
Dubbed “Dusty Blue Suede” and “Dusty Red Suede” respectively, these kicks come dressed in buttery, dyed (You guessed it.) suede, which covers the uppers. The pigments are applied delicately – with some spots visibly lighter than others – giving the sneaker a worn-in feel.
Darker shades of the respective blue and red hues are applied to the sockliners, tongue tabs, and metallic lace deubrés. Conversely, the colorful uppers are offset by creamy, “Sail” accents, which appear on the Swooshes, tongues, laces, and heel panels. That same shade makes its way down the sneaker, appearing on the rubber sole units.
The Air Force 1 “Dusty Blue Suede” and “Dusty Red Suede” are scheduled to drop April 3rd on JimmyJazz.com for a retail price of $110.
