In a truly unprecedented turn of events, the Georgetown Hoyas have earned a spot in this year's Big Dance. And, to celebrate the team's first NCAA Tournament berth since 2015, Jordan Brand is gearing up to release a fresh, new Air Jordan 3 colorway that'll allow students and alumni to hit the stands in style.
The forthcoming Air Jordan 3 “Midnight Navy” comes to class dressed in traditional school colors. The upper is done in a dark, “Midnight Navy”–shaded tumbled leather, while elephant-print accents in “Cement Grey” appear on the mudguards and rear quarter-panel overlays. The light-grey hue also tints the areas around the eyestays and ankle collars, which are done in perforated leather.
Jumpmen grace the “Cement Grey,” nubuck tongues and “Midnight Navy” heel tabs, while white laces pop against the dimly lit upper. The design is rounded out with foam midsoles painted white and “Midnight Navy,” as well as “Cement Grey” rubber outsoles.
The Air Jordan 3 “Midnight Navy” will be available March 20th on JimmyJazz.com in full-family sizing.
