This November, the brand is slated to release two new interpretations of the timeless Club C silhouette, plucked straight from the mind of fashion icon and musical superstar, Cardi B. Dubbed the Cardi B Club C and Cardi B Club C Double, these sneakers embody the carefree ethos and in-your-face attitude that the self-made-mogul exudes.
Designed with variety in mind, these kicks come clad in three unique colorways – “Chalk/Core Black,” “Instinct Red,” and triple-black. These thoughtful schemes are made to mirror notable fashion moments from the emcee's career, with the “Chalk/Core Black” makeup referencing her outfit from the 2018 Met Gala, and the “Instinct Red” version, her “Vogue” magazine cover getup.
Both sneakers are built on the same Reebok Club C foundation, but are entirely different in execution. The Cardi B Club C is draped in a shiny patent-leather upper, with transparent panels gracing the lateral and medial sides. The upper sits atop chunky translucent-rubber midsoles, giving the sneaker an elevated look in more ways than one. It's finished with Cardi B and Reebok-branded insoles.
The Cardi B Club C Double features a similarly glossy patent-leather upper, but opts for a solid composition instead of translucent paneling. Midsoles are similarly raised for a high-fashion look, and the insoles are caked with Cardi B lettering.
