A homegrown event turned international sensation, Rolling Loud has become known as one of the largest Hip-Hop only festivals in the world today. With over 200,000 in attendance outside Hard Rock Stadium, the Miami Gardens venue offered performances from some of the brightest stars in the business – Lil Uzi Vert, Future, and Kendrick Lamar left it all out on the stage during their scheduled sets. The global phenomenon has come a long way since its first year at Soho Studios in Wynwood, Miami. Originally performed at the small event space, the fledgling festival hosted just 6,000 people despite featuring a surprisingly high-profile lineup featuring Schoolboy Q, Juicy J, and Curren$y. Although festival organizers put together an unforgettable weekend of live music featuring the biggest names in Rap and Hip-Hop, Rolling Loud presents an opportunity for up-and-comers in the industry to showcase their talents and cement their status as true performers. The festival’s impact reaches far beyond the stage as multiple food trucks, bars, and merch vendors prepare all year to make their presence felt at one of the summer’s biggest parties. For the first time, the go-to retailer for sneakers and streetwear decided to step in and do our part to support local creatives, empower emerging artists, and help make Rolling Loud 2022 the best yet. SNIPES teamed up with multiple partners to provide an eventful experience for festival attendees who came by our grow house, rolled onto the skate park, and walked up to the SNIPES stage to see the incredible performances from our featured artists.

The SNIPES tent, skate park, and custom merch featured vibrant designs from Atomik – a local graffiti legend who lives and works in Miami. Atomik has created works using his orange character for over 20 years, skillfully covering any surface that will allow his signature mark to live on. Atomik’s assistance with the SNIPES Rolling Loud merch helped take the festival to the next level, as people who made their way to the tent for the t-shirts and hats also got a peak at custom skateboards and a grow house dedicated to Atomik’s orange character. Big Draco himself – AKA rapper and producer Soulja Boy – swung by the tent to give SNIPES a shoutout and check out the action happening at the skate park. While Soulja Boy got his chance to “Crank That” at the Monster Energy Stage, the SNIPES stage presented some unforgettable music moments, epic performances from Money Man, Big30, Sleazyworld Go, and Curren$y who helped start it all back in 2015. There were so many talented artists throughout the full festival weekend, and you can re-live the big moments with the full SNIPES Rolling Loud recap video below.
The festival was a major success with special guests and surprise appearances helping to make the full weekend a memorable one. Travis Scott appeared during Future’s set to perform “Hold That Heat” and Kodak Black crashed Kendrick Lamar’s set to hold down his verse in “Silent Hill”. All the stages were rocking, and the crowd was feeling it, but not to worry if you missed this one – you’ll get a chance to run it back with SNIPES at Citi Field during Rolling Loud New York. All our partners helped pull everything together to create some unforgettable moments, and we can’t wait to make magic again with everyone in September. Keep an eye out for the latest news with our Instagram page, blog posts, and mobile app because SNIPES at Rolling Loud is far from over.
