SNIPES got down this September in the city of brotherly love for The Pro Breaking Tour. This tour is a series of professional competitions in breaking and this year it traveled to Texas, Pennsylvania, New York, Florida, and California. The Tour was launched back in January of 2014 and has hosted over 200 prize earing breaking competitions in the United States, Canada, and parts of Europe.
The tour has reached new heights featuring thousands of registered competitors and two tiers of events: Champions Series (the top tier events) and Challenger Series (2nd tier).
The Champions Series events are the Silverback Open Championships in Philadelphia, and the Freestyle Session World Finals, which rotates between Los Angeles, San Diego, and Japan. The 2019 Challenger Series includes nine events, City of Excellence (NYC), United Styles (Boston), Culture of 4 (San Diego), Massive Monkeys Day (Seattle), Style Elements (San Jose), SPIN LAS Vegas (Vegas), F.A.M. Fest (Miami), BBOYCITY (Austin), Temple Rock (Orlando).
The awards include a first-place prize of $3000, a second-place prize of $1500, a third-place prize of $900, and a fourth-place prize of $600.
