On Saturday, August 3rd, SNIPES team members woke up bright and early and made their way to the Brooke Road Recreation Center in Capitol Heights, MD with a full set of new helmets in hand. They were looking forward to surprising the Citylife Raptors 13U football team, especially Coach Kevin Mcgill, who has been working hard all year to prepare his team for a successful upcoming season. Coach Mcgill is a positive light for his community and his team, as he loves to share the importance of giving back to those in need. These sharp new helmets will not only give the players more confidence to hit the field this fall, but they will also provide the team with a greater sense of safety while playing the game they love.
SNIPES spent the day with the team handing out gift bags and Jersey Mike’s subs for lunch. With back to school right around the corner, SNIPES is wishing the Citylife Raptors the best of luck as they gear up for their season.
