The up-and-coming artist from East Flatbush, Brooklyn has lived through two arrests, the loss of close friends and collaborators including Pop Smoke, and the untimely passing of his mother in 2016, but his message remains the same – stay focused and follow through on the vision. Fivio began his rap career in 2011 but did not begin making a name for himself until the release of his breakout single “Big Drip” eight years later. Although Fivio’s younger self probably never dreamed he would’ve made it this far, he has a chance to push the culture even further and leave a permanent mark on hip-hop with his New York drill rap style.
