SNIPES’ newest locations – Bridge Port, CT, Miami, FL, and Arlington, TX – are now open and waiting for you to visit. Right before Christmas Day, SNIPES surprised six customers every hour with a gift card to shop in the Bridge Port store. Families received $100 towards their purchase at the Shopper Fair Plaza SNIPES store from 11 am to 5 pm. Bridge Port, CT is the most diverse city in Connecticut with a strong sense of Urban Culture, so it only makes sense for this to be one of our newest store locations. It wouldn’t be a grand opening without a party, and DJ NyceHitz brought the vibes. Get Stuffed Food Truck was in the mix at 12pm serving something for everyone. Customers could satisfy their hunger with a burger and feed their shopping addiction while browsing the newest SNIPES store.
Another event you did not want to miss was the grand opening at our Fountain Square Store in Miami. This store is our first 2.0 location in Miami, so the grand opening had to match the hype. The day was filled with excitement as exhibitions by MARTK’D for Art Basel were on display for shoppers to browse. Shoppers were also gifted SNIPES Swag and onsite printed customized t-shirts. The event had no shortage of good treats with both a cotton candy and snow cone booths front and center. There were lots of memorable moments with the SNIPES selfie photo booth, especially when celebrities OT Genesis and Asian Doll popped in to spend time with shoppers. Students from the Overtown Youth Center were invited to join in on the festivities and were gifted with a SNIPES USA shopping spree. It never fails to make us smile seeing all the happy faces in our stores supporting us and our growth. Combining art and creativity with all of our SNIPES fun was a truly unforgettable experience, and we can’t wait to bring more of that energy into 2023.
The Arlington, TX, community grand opening was in partnership with Saving Soles – a non-profit organization that focuses on contributing to school readiness, art, and mental health by representing students all over the US – and 30 students were invited to design their own sneakers and then were able to interview snipes team members and guests in the process. Afterward, the students were surprised by a SNIPES shopping spree. The SNIPES Dream Makers Program also partnered with Trinity Kids and Community Council Member Shonnell Cueller to grant a SNIPES dream and surprise the kids at their annual holiday party. Shonnell nominated kids from this non-profit that strives to create positive memories in neglected children’s lives in central Texas. With 100 children from the Trinity Kids Foundation selected, they were then surprised with gift cards for a SNIPES shopping spree! DJ Hollywood Bay Bay – the newest signee to Rick Ross’ Mayback Music Group – came to the grand opening and brought all the energy with him as he posed for photos with shoppers. DJ Bay Bay made a name for himself as a popular radio personality on Dallas K-104. Even the Mayor of his hometown has officially named October 21st “Hollywood Bay Bay Day” in Shreveport, LA, his hometown. From supporting the children at our event to dropping his latest single, “Trunk Fulla,” featuring Jim Jones, Dorrough Music, and Yo Gotti, DJ Bay Bay is someone we look forward to working with again.
