The highly anticipated 2023 WNBA season kicked off with a bang as SNIPES USA, the official sponsor of the New York Liberty, brought an unforgettable experience to fans at their season opener. From immersive experiences to delicious food and exciting giveaways, the SNIPES activation on the main concourse had something for everyone.
As fans entered the arena, they were greeted by the SNIPES customization cage, offering complimentary co-branded t-shirts designed exclusively for the 2023 season. These unique shirts featured caricature images of the current New York Liberty roster, allowing fans to show their support with a personalized touch. With custom name, number, and logo placements, each fan could proudly represent their favorite players.Paying homage to the city that never sleeps, SNIPES had a talented caricature artist on-site, allowing fans to take home a unique piece of art. Capturing the essence of the event and the New York Liberty spirit, these artworks became cherished keepsakes for lucky fans.
Adding to the vibrant atmosphere, SNIPES invited the renowned Brooklyn food truck, Papaleon con Limona, to treat fans to authentic Venezuelan cuisine while keeping the energy high throughout the event with DJ 9am, also known as Angel Monique. These flavorful additions satisfied taste buds and had the jams to make the event unforgettable. Showcasing the diversity and cultural richness of New York City. Fans had the opportunity to expand their culinary horizons while cheering on the Liberty.
During halftime, SNIPES took center stage as the presenting sponsor and treated five fortunate fans to an incredible surprise. A raffle appeared on the jumbotron, and as the fourth quarter began, NYL staff personally delivered customized boxes to the winners’ seats. Inside each box awaited a brand-new New York Liberty jersey and a Snipes Gift Card. The reactions of these lucky fans were captured on camera, adding to the excitement, and creating unforgettable memories.
