We celebrated Juneteenth by shining a spotlight on the diverse identities within the Black community and extending our unwavering support. This year, we proudly showcased the remarkable journeys of Black entrepreneurs who have achieved success in unconventional domains. These trailblazers embody the spirit of perseverance, creativity, and self-belief, proving that success knows no boundaries.
In a bid to uplift the next generation of Detroit, SNIPES and adidas partnered to empower the youth through the Pure Heart Cycle Breaker Entrepreneurship initiative. This collaborative effort equipped young individuals with essential business skills, offering them a chance to thrive as future business owners. By fostering economic growth within the community, we aimed to create a ripple effect of positive change and inspire others to join us in championing the aspirations of Detroit’s youth.
From June 17th to 18th, our in-store activations in Brooklyn and Baltimore came alive with vibrancy, entertainment, and community connection. Attendees explored the world of SUPLMNT’s insulated bottles while savoring Cloud Donut’s delectable vegan treats. They grooved to the beats of live DJs and witnessed awe-inspiring balloon art installations. A branded moment united donuts and SUPLMNT bottles in a harmonious celebration.
On June 19th, the celebration continued at the Revival Hotel in Baltimore, where the second part of the activation unfolded. This evening was dedicated to networking, learning, and sharing insights. The event featured a panel discussion led by our community partners from the in-store activations. These leaders shared their wisdom and perspectives on operating and growing successful Black businesses. The event culminated with a vibrant mixer, offering all guests the opportunity to connect and network while marveling at Brian’s creation of an elaborate balloon structure.

Pure Heart Foundation: Sherelle Hogan’s foundation aimed to break the cycle of generational involvement in the criminal justice system by offering vital support to young individuals with incarcerated parents.
