On Saturday March 13th, SNIPES partnered with the Detroit Pistons and Adidas to celebrate 313 Day in the Motor City. While commemorating anything and everything Detroit, SNIPES celebrated community leaders, healthcare workers, firemen, artists, athletes, and other local heroes from the city. For two days, a co-branded mobile truck made stops to local community centers, schools, hospitals, and fire departments. The community initiative offered coffee and donuts from the Detroit Mini Donut shop as well as offer exclusive sneaker and apparel giveaways to those in attendance. On the third day, SNIPES traveled to the five different Metro Detroit SNIPES retail locations around the city and released an exclusive, ultra-limited Adidas Forum Hi shoe inspired by the Championships of the Detroit Pistons in 1989-1990 and 1990-1991. The city showed out and showed love as the Pistons in-arena host kevknows and mascot Hooper hyped the crowd and local celebrities like Carlos Davis, Icewear Vezzo, and Matashia came out to support the brand. It was a great day to celebrate the 313 and everything that the city has to offer!
