Hosted within our East Harlem Neighborhood, SNIPES partnered with Fortune & Forks to create an event catered around empowering women. By sponsoring a lunch, women within the community were able to celebrate their shared ambitions and endless abilities in order to preserver across any industry. From students eager to learn more about advancing their careers to entrepreneurs sharing tips for success, discussions about dreams and personal journeys continued throughout the evening to create an occasion that will remain unforgettable in the lives of these determined individuals.
SNIPES also collaborated with Nike to host this event while paying tribute to the legacy of Air Force One. For the 40th Anniversary, the event was decorated wall to wall with Nike ornaments and décor as a great way to show off the ability to “Join Forces,” “Just Do It,” and “Believe in Something. ” The young high school and college women taking part in the event were gifted Chromebooks and tablets to create their Air Force One, which would also be given to them.
Aimed to provide a space for women to connect and build meaningful relationships, Fortune & Forks celebrates women year-round with beautiful brunches connecting these ambitious women of color across various industries. The elite resource group is dedicated to creating, promoting, and celebrating members representing various academic disciplines and career paths but sharing similar experiences regarding navigating their careers networks. Helping others learn while they grow theirs. This group is the dream team for personal and professional growth, and we are happy to have partnered with an excellent and empowering business.
