Chi-Town The Hip Hop in Chinatown Street Dance Festival brings together the most talented dancers and artists from across the US and the Mid West to compete for $3,000 in cash prizes. SNIPES has always understood the life dance breathes into a community as well as the statements that can be made from its art form. SNIPES is excited to be supporting the future youth of Chinatown and the Hip Hop community as a whole.
This two-day event was held in Chicago on August 27th and 28th, including free entry, giveaways, merch, music performances, local street vendors, k-pop, and parties. There was plenty to see and do while bopping around this venue. Participants came from all over to show their creativity and compete for the grand prize. This event also held three dance workshops with highly experienced dancers in the USA street dance community. This event truly had it all! A lot of brands don’t pay homage to dance but with SNIPES’ always having their ear to the streets, they know the impact hip-hop culture has on their communities, and the turnout at this event proves it! Congratulations to the winners, The Kastle (5v5) and Lil’ Davio (1v1).
